ABOUT EMIKOEmiko “Emi” Sandoval is a Chicago-based creative and marketeer. She is currently working as a private nanny, while pursuing a degree in Music Business and a minor in Marketing at Columbia College Chicago (graduating 2026).
She is building a career that bridges the creative and business sides of the industry, developing her skills as both an artist and music business executive, with the goal of marketing and managing herself, as well as other artists.
She is always looking to connect and collaborate with other multifaceted creatives and entrepreneurs.

PHILOSOPHYEmiko believes in learning from the people around her and building a community. She doesn’t want to box herself into one idea or one path. Emi enjoys exploring, trying new things, and expanding her skill-set. Allowing curiosity and creativity to flow freely in her life is a big part of who she is and how she moves through her career journey.
“My parents have always described me as a curious and hard-working individual. Growing up, I wanted to understand the ‘why’ behind everything. I asked (and still ask) a lot of questions because I want to have the knowledge and resources to advocate for myself and others. I never really felt ‘pressure’ from my parents, as they understood just how self-motivated I’ve always been. Instead they pushed me to do my best and if anything, to take a breath every once in a while. Finding a balance is key, and that’s something I’m still working on.”
